Women on the road for March 8 with Teritoria restaurants and hotels: proposals

10-March-2025

The community founded by celebrity chef Alain Ducasse, which boasts more than 400 addresses, turns 50 and celebrates by looking to the future

It is a special year for Teritoria, the community chaired by the well-known chef Alain Ducasse which brings together restaurateurs, hoteliers and travelers engaged in authentic and sustainable hospitality, in the service of life. Indeed, 2025 will see the celebration of the first 50 years of activity: It was 1975 when two independent French hoteliers decided to create an association representing a genuine welcome deeply rooted in the territory, in which human exchanges and relationships were in the foreground.

An approach and philosophy that in 50 years has been established in the international arena and today it is recognized under the name of Teritoria, the first committed hospitality guide. A history studded with important evolutions in compliance with trends in the tourist-accommodation sector and from A significant rebranding that took place in late 2023, which brought with it new values and concrete commitments. Specifically: becoming a société à mission (a French legal form that identifies a company with specific social and environmental goals), preserve biodiversity through collaborative funding projects with agroforestry entities and lead the community toward greater environmental and social sustainability.

Activities to celebrate the 50th are more than one, starting with the publication of the Guide 2025 available in limited edition with the branded cover: inside there are the more than 400 addresses of Teritoria committed to the same mission: inventing tourism that makes people love the world. There are also 38 noteworthy new entries, among which we mention for Italy (which ranks as the leading country after France, followed by Belgium, Spain, Greece, Monaco and the United Kingdom): Frosch Restaurant & Grizzly Haus in Varena, Val di Fiemme, which is headed by the chefs Sara Bertocchi and Fabrizio Molteni; the Etra Restaurant in Genoa of chef Davide Cannavino; Sestante - Osteria di Mare in Venice, a few steps from St. Mark's Square, led by young restaurateur Francesca Foffani flanked by the chef Alain Pietrobon; Lake Como Muse, a refined boutique hotel on the shores of the lake in Sala Comacina, with an in-house restaurant offering cuisine as young and dynamic as the chef patrons Matteo Corridori and Robert Moretti; Cascina Era Wellness Relais in Sandigliano, in the province of Biella; the Alain Ducasse restaurant Naples, whose kitchen leadership is entrusted to the talented chef Alessandro Lucassino; Albergo Dipinto - Bacco Furore in Furore, Amalfi Coast, with the exceptional cook Erminia Cuomo; Gentilcore Palace in Castellabate, Cilento., a boutique hotel with the restaurant "Pancrazio" Locanda Cilentana inside, an expression of the cuisine of the chef-farmer Peter Parisi.

On the occasion of the 50th anniversary are increased to four 'spoons' to classify the Table Remarquable (restaurants that differentiate themselves by deserving cuisine). To the already existing categories-in ascending order Bonne table, Grande table, Table d'Excellence-is added Table d'Exception, represented by 4 spoons and reserved for those emblazoned restaurants and in exclusive locations, where the high quality of products is enhanced by skillful culinary techniques and impeccable service. The new Table classification takes into account three basic principles: quality of welcome and service, culinary excellence, and enhancement of the area and region.

Finally, the following has just been launched 'Imagine Hospitality 2050' initiative., a project that aims to predict in advance the demands and modalities of tomorrow's hospitality sector. "This is the only way to anticipate future challenges," says Alain Ducasse, brand president - If I committed myself to this company already 25 years ago, it is because I was convinced from the beginning that we could invent something new together. When I see the path we have taken, I am confident for the future." While President Xavier Alberti reminds us that "the important thing is to be able to make a long-term commitment. Commitment is at the origin of everything, but without constancy it is useless. Without commitment you never start and without constancy you never finish!"

Teritoria proposes some Outstanding destinations for International Women's Day, where it will be possible to celebrate March 8 in the pleasant company of girlfriends, or as a couple.

For those who love the fashion experiences and sparkling at Milan is waiting for you Ceresio 7 Pools & Restaurant, one of the trendiest locations in the city. From the gourmet restaurant and cocktail bar and the large terrace featuring two striking pools, you can enjoy the now iconic Milan skyline. Perfect setting to make the evening unforgettable, being delighted by the specialties created by the chef Elio Sironi.

Proposed by the country chic flavor with sea view is instead the Locanda De Banchieri, on the scenic road leading to the quaint village of Fosdinovo (in the province of Massa Carrara): the relais also features a fine dining restaurant led by the chef Giacomo Devoto, which boasts one star in the Michelin Guide 2025.

The Locanda is a historic aristocratic mansion overlooking the Gulf of La Spezia: in addition to the starred restaurant, freshly remodeled, it encloses four comfortable country-romantic style rooms and is surrounded by Centuries-old olive trees and vegetable gardens that are part of the estate. From here the chef obtains seasonal ingredients to make his culinary creations, encapsulated in three tasting routes: Portus Lunae, Alpi Apuane and Neptune's Fingers, as well as the brand new 'freehand' Lunezia Andata e Ritorno.

There is no shortage of suggestions for those looking for something totally different. If you want to celebrate in a typical medieval atmosphere, on a hill overlooking the Tiber Valley, the Teritoria address not to be missed is that of the Captain's Inn in Montone. Walking through the alleys of the ancient village, one arrives at the home of the chef Giancarlo Polito, once the residence of the family of Condottiero Braccio Fortebracci. Today it has been converted into an intimate hotel and a renowned restaurant, featuring cuisine that respectfully interprets local traditions and ingredients.

Finally, well-deserved relaxation on the Amalfi Coast. The Painted Hotel - Bacchus in Furore, a newcomer to the community, is perched in the hills of the village and is distinguished by being a widespread hotel family-run, with a history dating back to 1930. In addition to the stunning views of the Amalfi Coast from the rooms and the large panoramic terrace, it boasts a gourmet restaurant, Hostaria Bacco, led by the chef Erminia Cuomo: a true custodian of the Ferraioli family's culinary tradition, will delight you with dishes that are a sincere tribute to the region.
