Ferrazzuoli alla Nannarella: the dish of movie stars in the 1940s

This first dish, which originated at theHostaria Di Bacco in Furore was the favorite of such film greats as Anna Magnani and Roberto Rossellini.

Anna Magnani in fact, right in Furore, in the late 1940s, shot the film "The Miracle" directed by the father of Italian neorealism.

There was a stormy romance between Magnani and Rossellini: he was up from dawn, while she was up at two in the afternoon.

So the two lovers, Roberto and Nannarella, would find themselves during the filming eating only for dinner, in a trattoria in the coastal village, and Magnani was extravagant about Neapolitan cuisine, and in particular this dish.
